This piece is made of a 33% Glass Fill Nylon which is one of the strongest plastics that can be manufactured and typically is only seen to strip out on older welded agitators or if the medium in the solids bin is causing unnecessarily high torque stresses. This can be caused if the medium has too much moisture or the incorrect medium. 

It is a rare occurrence for it to fail and we are working on developing new profiles of this component to stop failure altogether. Unfortunately it cannot be manufactured from metal without an extreme costs so we are confident that finding the best torque profile will resolve the issues.
